Amelia's First Trip

Journaling:
I took you for your first trip outside the house when you were seven days old. You looked so tiny to me, you were still too small for most of your clothes. I bundled you up in pajamas and a dress, plus lots of blankets. It started snowing that day and I was worried about you getting cold. Grandma Eifert took us shopping for some baby things that we needed before our big trip to Florida. You slept the whole time and didn’t make a peep. You were such a sweetie!

Pumpkins

ournaling:
We had so much fun at the
Potter Park Zoo! I think
everyone loved the penquins
the most. We spent the most
time there, just looking and
giggling. You thought it was great to
ook over the edge and see the penquins
down below. August 10, 2009

Creative Victorian Designs has a new kit out called Hunter. It's perfect for fall and Halloween photos. I used it with Amelia's pumpkin patch pictures from last year.

Journaling:
Amelia’s first visit to a pumpkin patch was an interesting one. She wasn’t quite
sure what all of those big orange things were. She wanted to touch and point at
everything she saw. She was so intense on checking out the pumpkins that I had the
hardest time getting her to smile for me while I was holding the camera. She did
have a great time sitting among the pumpkins and I loved how she looked with her
orange shirt on!

Just be You

Journaling:
Damon came up with this
great way to pull Amelia
around on her bike. He hooked
up two dog leashes to her
handle bars and now we can
easily pull her and steer the
bike. It's pretty cool and fun
to take her on walks like
this! I took her out this
week and taught her the words
"fast" and "slow". She giggled
everytime I said the words and
then I would jog with the bike
or walk super slow.

Apple of My Eye

Journaling:
Last year, you had no idea what candy was, but you know this year! You kept biting into your candy while the wrapper was still on!

Jen of Graham like the Cracker has a wonderful new fall kit out this week called “An Orchard Harvest”. This kit is filled with a TON of elements! Felt, craft paper and real elements are the perfect compliment to your apple picking or pumpkin carving pictures. They also make great layouts of your little “dumpling” or “pumpkin”. This kit includes 17 papers and over 40 elements all for a great price of $5.00.
An Orchard Harvest has an Add-on! This coordinating mini is slightly more formal than the rest of the kit, but coordinates perfectly to dress up your layouts. It’s only $2.50.

Halloween!

We rode through the neighborhood on my inlaws' golf cart. Gilly came dressed up as a pirate too! Amelia kept saying that my fake tattoos were "owies"
The fun thing about trick or treating in Florida, is that a lot of people sit in their driveways or yards to pass out candy. It's a great way to meet your neighbors.

Amelia was a little nervous about this lady's costume.
Her spoils!
Biting into the sucker with the wrapper still on! Such a change from last year, then she didn't know what this stuff was.
